What a terrific invention! I always struggled with what to do with my hot and often messy pot lids when I'd remove them to stir the pot contents, but no more. It helps keep my stove top clean, and I no longer get burned trying to re-grab the handle of the lid. I probably use it more often as a trivet, though, and it performs beautifully there as well. I was pretty sure I was going to love it, so I bought a 3-pack and gave the other 2 as gifts to family and friends. A truly innovative product!
